The Perfect Syndrome

So, its 9:48pm and I am up working...my son is still up too...goodness it's a school night! Does it make it better that it's a Thursday? I am tying up a few things for my consulting clients and well, my son has been flying under the radar.

So my six year old really needs to be in bed, but I have 2 weeks to really push my upcoming marketing conference and sleep is not in the vocabulary right night atleast for me. The side effect is, I have been so busy that sometimes things like my son's 8:30 bedtime gets pushed to the right.

One thing I have learned is not to fault myself for not being perfect, single mom or married, no one is perfect. Everything won't always have its proper place and the proper time...and that's just the way it is.
